3 mistakes that scare guests away

Transcript

Three mistakes that scare guests away… and almost everyone makes number two.

Mistake number one: dark photos, taken on a phone. The fix: daylight, tidy rooms, and professional photos.

Mistake number two: a complicated check-in. Three messages just to find the key? That's already a bad review. The fix: a key box or a smart lock, and a clear arrival guide.

Mistake number three: an empty listing with no details. Guests don't like guessing. The fix: a clear title, every amenity listed, and simple house rules.

Good news: at Hexuvium, we avoid all three for you.

Short lets: myth or truth?

Transcript

Short lets: four common myths. Let's sort fact from fiction… in one minute.

"Guests wreck everything." Myth. Every guest is vetted, a security deposit is taken, and the home is checked before and after every stay.

"Photos are everything." True! Guests choose with their eyes first. That's why we arrange a professional photo shoot.

"I'll never get to use my own home." Myth. You can block your dates anytime, right from your owner space.

"Cleaning will cost me a fortune." Myth. Cleaning fees are paid by guests, with every booking.

Long let vs short let: the showdown

Transcript

Long let versus short let. The showdown. Who wins?

Round one: using your own home. With a long let, almost never. With a short let, you block your dates whenever you like. Round two: the condition of your home. Seen when the tenant leaves, sometimes years later… or checked after every stay. Round three: steady income. A long let gives you a fixed rent… and so does our direct rental. It's a draw! Round four: your time. Some admin on one side… zero admin on the other: Hexuvium handles everything.

Verdict: three rounds to nil, and a draw. Now pick the option that suits you.
